DESIGNER JOURNEY

From an early age, our designer had a unique knack for creating accessories. Whether it was for her siblings, relatives, or herself, her creations always stood out.

This early passion only grew stronger over the years, attracting the attention of her university professors who admired and even purchased her designs.

Specializing in entomology, with a particular fascination for butterflies, she drew inspiration from their vibrant colors, graceful mobility, and the sense of freedom they embody.

This led to her debut collection, where her academic interests seamlessly blended with her burgeoning talent in jewelry design.

Upon graduating, she honed her skills further through courses in jewelry design, silversmithing, 3D design (Rhinoceros), wax carving, and micromosaic techniques.

Her dedication and innovation did not go unnoticed.
She applied to the inaugural Cairo Design Awards and was shortlisted, eventually receiving an award for her unique bowtie design, which garnered attention from various publications and media outlets.

With her early success, our designer turned her focus to a new muse: the rich heritage and the timeless beauty of old Egypt. She sought to encapsulate the traditions and values intrinsic to our culture, finding a perfect symbol in the mashrabiya. Originating in Egypt and later adopted across neighboring regions, the mashrabiya is a stunning architectural element that filters light to create intricate shadow patterns, symbolizing home, privacy, protection, beauty, and strength in one.
In her latest collection, she brings this ancient art form to life through her jewelry.

Each piece captures the essence of the mashrabiya, absorbing light and casting delicate, intricate designs in their shadows, just as an actual mashrabiya does.
This collection is not just jewelry; it’s a revival of heritage and an artistic homage to the beauty of Egyptian traditions .
